After finishing university and realizing that the world is very cruel, I had to take a job in retail; the sob story of thousands after a BA in art or philosophy. There doesn’t appear to be a massive call out in the job market for philosophers anyways. So whilst trying to feed myself with my job I have to remember the mantra: ‘I am an artist who happens to work in retail;I am not a sales assistant who happens to do art’.
